Study Tuina at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

with Clinical Internship at the Yue Yang Hospital

Students will be in class at the Shanghai University of TCM in the mornings and in Clinical Internship training in the afternoon.  Classes will be 5 days a week for 2 weeks.  The schedule and curriculum is as follows:

Class Curriculum

•Introduction to TCM Theory

•Cervical Strain

•Lumbar Strain

•Headache

•General Tuina

•Pediatric Tuina

•Tuina Hand Techniques

Planed Schedule

• May 2 - depart for China

• May 3 – arrive in China

•May 4-15 – begin class at hospital and medical school

•May 5 – tour of Shanghai

•May 9-10– sightseeing tour of Suzhou

•May 12 – visit medical bookstore

•May 13 – tour Tuina Research Institute

•May 14 – tour Qigong Research Institute

•May 15 – Graduation Ceremonies

•May 16 – Leave for home

Study Tour Cost Includes the Following

•Round trip airfare from the West Coast of the U.S.

•Hotel stay in Shanghai and Suzhou

•Tuition for classes at the Shanghai Univ. of TCM

•Tuition at Yue Yang Hospital for Clinical Studies

•Scheduled Sightseeing Tours in Shanghai and Suzhou plus bus fares

•Bus fare to Suzhou and return to Shanghai

•Bus transfers from airport to hotel and back and to Suzhou

•Visa be acquired by April 1, 2015

Applications for the trip will be mailed out upon receiving total payment.  Students can go online and get their Visa’s.
